whenever i put mousse on my damp hair and use hairscpray it gets so hard and nasty looking? Should i use a blowdryer? how do i scrunch my hair using a blow dryer. I also just bought the garnier fructis soft curl so can i use this to acheive the look i want?

If you would like your hairl like this.... braid your hair into french braids before you braid them have some leave in conditioner, i prefer using matrix leave in conditioner and braid it and sleep with them over night and take them out slowly the next day, and then when you style it wet it a little with your hands not too much and then use i prefer matrix Amplify mousse and hairspray to help get your hair more volumized...this should help get you your look, if the first day you take it out its not wavy enough leave the braids in longer and when you braid it make sure its tight..ok? good girly

it depends on how your hair is naturally. if you have pin-straight hair, chances are it won`t get that curly/voluminous without at TON of products. that's just killing your hair unnecessarily.

basically; after you wash your hair; use a scrunching spray (they have nice ones at salons, if not then somewhere like shoppers drug mart is good. however, it's not worth buying the expensive ones, since the less-expensive ones work just as well.. it all depends on your hair.) after you spray it; use a bit of mousse; and blow dry your hair with a diffuser (it attaches to your blow dryer). scrunch your hair as you`re blow drying it. if you want her bangs, just straighten yours (make sure you don`t put spray/mousse on them, if you do just wet them and wipe it out.)

well u shouldent put all that in ur wet hair its bad 4 it. but u if u whant curls u can go and get a comb 4 ur blowdryer frome wal mart or k mart that will help u skrunch it better and when its dry u can hair spray it all u whant lol. im more of a strate hair girl my self my hair is real frizzey so i use a flat iorn but u can use a real big curlin iorn 4 ur self.

You've gotta have a perm or naturally curly/wavy hair, to begin with. When you apply mousse (or gel) to your damp hair, use a pick and run through it after you apply it. If you're having a hard time getting your pick through your hair, then spray enough water on it until you can get your pick through it. Pick through it thoroughly. Then start scrunching it up from the ends up. Keep scrunching. Then hold your head upside down and lift up your hair at the roots. Shake your head a few times. Let it air dry. (You can buy and use a diffuser (on your dryer) if you like, but I truly think it looks frizzier blow drying it.) If it starts to look fizzy after it air dries, run your hands (you have oil on your palms) down the surface of your hair or use a shine product to get the cuticle to lay back down. In the picture, it also looks like she's got straight bangs. You can do that too with the blow dryer and a few shots of water on the hair first, if you need it. If you use a want to use a spray, use a soft holding spray on it.

Thats how I do this. In fact, I just fixed it that way this very morning.
