Is this how you should scrunch your hair..?

No, do not comb your hair and do not wrap it up in a towel. Wrapping it in a towel will cause it to be too dry, tangled and will make it frizzy. You may scrunch your hair WITH a towel to soak up excess moisture, but do not wrap it around your head. If you have naturally straight hair, use a gel instead of a mousse. It will hold better.

Well i do the first 3 steps but I don't comb my hair after my shower because it'll just go straight (my hair is naturally straight but if i mousse it after showering it'll stay curly.) Then I scrunch different parts of my hair using tons of mouse, then tie my hair up in lots of different places (sort of like a few different buns all over my hair. Lol, looks a bit weird but I do it at night right b4 I go to bed). Next morning, depending on how much mousse i've put in, it may be a bit frizzy but it's generally curly. And my hair is naturally dead straight!

I don't blow dry it, I just go to sleep with my hair tied up all wet and moussed. So by the next morning when I undo it it still retains its dampness and it's still curly. I don't add hairspray or whatever.

I guess that is how you scunch it if you have natural straight hair and want to have more of a wavy effect. It is a lot easier if you perm your hair or have curly hair, all you do is apply either gel or moose on your slightly damp hair and start scrunching it, then you just let it dry and you will have define curls that are frizz free. If you do have straight hair you can do what you wrote but I think it will look nicer if you try to have curls or wavy hair before you apply any products and start scrunching it. Try using cold curls, curly iron, or even hot curls to make your hair curly/wavy, but if you do DON'T WET YOUR HAIR, just go straight to adding either gel or moose and start scrunching. You can also do what the girl above me said and just put moose and put your hair on a bun overnight or for a few hours and let it down, it will make your hair wavy just make sure you add a little more gel or moose in the morning to make it more define. Try either ways they will all help you scunch your hair, I'm not sure what kind of look you want but it never hurts to try... good luck
