How to get straight shiny hair?

I'm answering my own question because I didn't see a answer I liked %26amp; would like to share how I get my dyed, wavy, dry hair straight and very shiny. I buy shampoos %26amp; conditioners that add lots of moisture. I shampoo %26amp; condition everyday. My favorites are Neutrogena triple moisture or Pantene moisture products. I alternate these or use a clarifying shampoo every two weeks, as build up occurs. I don't use the everyday conditioners but the intense ones they say to use once a week, but I use them everyday. I condition twice with two different intense conditioners with one shampooing. I then use a silicone based anti frizz serum, they have extra strength ones for hair that is intensely frizzy. My hair is chin length, not very thick but I double the maxium amount of suggested serum. Use amt that is best for your hair. I use an ionizer dryer, but usually let it dry naturally. I use a ceramic large barrel or flat iron. If you dye, make sure to do it 4 to 6 wks as dye adds much body to hair.

i HAVE STRAIGHT SHINY HAIR but since you may have a diff texture (naturally I have very coarse and curly hair typical of most people of color but I get relaxers to straighten out my roots) I am not sure what works for me will work for you so I will give you advice in general terms.

To get straight shiny hair with volume (for me anyway), you wash and condition the hair sit under the dryer with a roll set and have your hair blow dried out at a salon. They have special blow dryers with maximm heat etc so they will make the hair super straight like Asian hair. I do not suggest to get that done on a regular basis though too much overheating causes the hair to break off or get brittle. Always get a conditioner no matter what!
