Hair styling...?

ok so im a guy with medium length hair, prolly about 31/2-4inches in length...i naturally have straight hair so getting it to be puffy or have that surfer or messy look to it is hard. What is a good product that would be good for me to make my hair messy in a puffy,stylish,textury kinda way? lol. i just bought Bed head Manipulator and Redken wax, but i dont think im using it right....when i use the bed head i prolly put too much in my hair so it weighs it down?..do i just try to spread it out evenly on my hair on the very tip of my hair?...i dont like the BLow dryer puffy look so....thanx

try putting in a product that will give you volume like a moose and sleep on it at night! that will give you the cute bed head look! = )

hi busta! well yeah..men need stylish locks too, it's not just for women anymore! :) so, here's what you do, get yourself a can of extra hold mousse, get the foam kind, not the spray on.

after you get out of the shower towel dry your hair as much as you can, to get the water out. then shake the can and make a cup with your hand and put a fair amount in there. put it all over your hair down to the scalp, mix and rub your hair so you have it all over your hair. then bend over with your hair hanging towards the floor, then scrunch your hair up towards your scalp, over and over again. then slowly bring your head up. check it out in the mirror finger style it the way you want, if you want more lift, scrunch it up some more. and your ready to go...or wait until it air drys. if its still not quite what you want after it dries, then bend your head over and brush it out, lift your head and place it as you want. this is easy and fun trying new styles. wishing you happy locks! :)
