Try a normal shampoo, not one for oily hair. Like Pantene Pro-V winter rescue or ice shine.. If you wash your hair daily, the oil shouldnt be that bad. Don't put conditioner on your roots, but only on the ends. That should help a lot.

I use this brand.

Just apply it at the tip of your hair and then blow dry..

No more frizz throughout the day..

I'm not sure when it comes to which shampoo treats it best... but a little of pre-conditionin b4 your hair wash wud resolve it!! A little of curd /1 egg white(if u're nveggie) dey're natural conditioners with half a lime (resolves tat oil issue).. apply n leave it 4 half n hr... n then go on wit a mild shampoo... works well 4 me... Good luck!! n Happy surfin :)

I used to have this problem until I began using Sunsilk (orange bottle). The best way to wash your hair is to place a ten cent piece amount of shampoo on your hand and spread through your hair use a little bit of water to spread it around, wash all of it out. then same amount of conditioner but only on the ends of your hair then leave for a minute and wash out with a cool rinse- washing your hair with hot water can also destroy it. A way to get it stronger is not to tye it up all the time- let it loose as your hair wil snap from the continuous stress of being tied up- have a didfferent hair style everyday. Aslo dont use straightners, hair dyers- naturally dry your hair as much as possible and it will be healthy in no time. Oh and if you use products in your hair, hair spray, etc wash it out asap as it also wrecks hair.

I have fine hair and have had oil at the roots as well. Shampoo is primarily used to wash the roots, where as conditioner is for the hair length. You should also massage your scalp when shampooing the roots (like they do in a salon). The massaging of the scalp pushes the oil out of the hair glands of the scalp. One trick I do sometimes is instead of using a regular conditioner, I buy a spray on leave-in-conditioner (Biolage and NeXus both have good light spraying conditioner). Everybody's hair is different and you really have to try different shampoos/conditioners that work best for your hair type.
