Help i need hair tips?

ok so i long hair 4 inches from my underwear line and it is like frizzy i have gel a blow dryer an astrait iron also my hair is puffy so what will look good i tried everything side bangs layers ponytails side bang looks good but i need to no where to part it i have 2 step layers and side bangs also i dont want to cut it canu show me picks my hair is brown with red and blond high lights sorry about spelling

Help i need hair tips?

well the first thing i would suggest is to cut it alittle...nbot too much tho, to make it lighter...for teh firzziness i would use some shampoos, or when your hair is wet keep in braids or together in one spot..then before it dries completely add some moose or hair spray.

Help i need hair tips?

Oh! Don't cut your hair. Use some oil, olive oil or King-Coconut. Put some oil on to your left palm and dip right hand fingers. Gently apply all over the hair. Then Brush well. It is very beautiful when hair "Moves as a single body"

Hair gel gives me lots of problems. Straighr iron will definetely damage your hair.

Keep a hair brush with you, preferably made with organic bristles.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i t

I have very course hair and shes never did hair like mine before. I dont want to be rude but i dont want her to do my hair. Im very private with my hair and only trust my hair dresser to do it she been doing it since i was a kid im 30 now. I need my ends cut and i dont mind if she does that but she thinks that she can blow dry my hair and then flat iron it and thats not possible. I have a process that i must go thru to dry my hair. First i sit under the dryer for 45 minutes then maybe i might blow dry it but other than that its not going to preform like she thinks. She doesnt speak english so i cant explain in detail and i dont think my boyfriend is doing a good job. I DONT WANT HER TO DO MY HAIR!!! Will she be upset if i dont let her do it?

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

tell her that you have been going to the same person since you were a kid, and wouldnt want to hurt your hairdressers feelings. I am a hairdresser and I KNOW when my clients have been somewhere else... it bothers me because i usually have to fix someone elses mess. Tell her that you went to someone else once and your hairdresser was upset and because the person screwed up and she had to fix it. You promised you wouldnt go to anyone ever again.Tell her that you will only go to someone else if your hairdresser gets sick or goes on vacation.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

just tell her that your hairdresser, who is also your friend, already asked to do it first! she shouldn't get mad, i know exactly how you feel, i have veeery course and crazy hair... i don't trust may people with it!

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

well then have your fiance tell his mom that you do not need her to do your hair because you already have a hairdresser and she has always done your hair . that should take care of it . good luck and god bless.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

Just let her try maybe she knows what shes talking about. If you dont like it just wash it out and then you can tell her not to do your hair.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

The first person who answered this question has the right answer.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

Just tell her that your friend asked you first an you don't want her to feel bad. Or tell her that you can handle it ok.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

Just tell her that your hair is something that she is not familiar with and not doubting her skills, you will feel better to go to someone who knows your hair and you feel comfortable. But I will soften the blow by asking to wear something of hers to the wedding, like a family heirloom jewelry.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

If she wants to do your hair, why do you have to tell her not to do it.Even if she doesnt do it right, let her do it, that will make her feel good and a kind of respect for her.Its just hair PLEASE.Its not like shes gonna take your life. Then again go do it at your hairdresser, big deal.Sorry, but this is my opinion.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

Tell your boyfriend to explain it better. She's his mother and he speaks her language.

My soon to be mother in law whos a hairdresser wants to do my hair but i dont want her to how do i tell her?

She probably will be upset because she's a hair dresser, that's what they do... but, she might not hold it against you, since they are turned down by people too.

I would just let her know that I've had the same person doing my hair for 20 years and I'm not about to let someone else do it, it's a trust thing... she's a hair dresser, she should understand, again.. it's what they go through.

I would also let my BF know that, he's not helping, how would he feel if you had a cousin that wanted to but his hair... men are very picky about that too.. trust me, I have a son, Iknow.

Anyway, on the other hand... what could she possibly do wrong. I have the very course hair and I allowed someone at hair cuttery to do my hair and I LOVED IT... and I only get my hair done by one or two of my cousins.

Question though: You don't mind her clipping your ends, but you don't want her to blow dry and flat iron your hair? I would be more concerned with the cutting than the other, because some people get happy with cutting, when u say clip ends, you might end up with a HAIR CUT. So, I really think that their is an underlying issue, (i.e., no speak english).

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

Does anyone know where sells hair fragrance/perfume/mist that's not expensive (less than $20) ?

I don't smoke or anything, but am looking for something to make my hair have some sort of a scent all day, instead of just being blah (the smell of my shampoo/conditioner wears off in less than an hour %26amp; I know you can't spray reg. perfume on your hair due to the alcohol makeing it dryer)

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

Find someone who sells Aveda products. Talk about good smelling stuff. WOW! And you can buy testers from the salon to try them out. My favorite in the whole world is Aveda Brilliance. Smells simply yummy, yet sexy and sassy.

xxx

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

Herbal Essence makes one that smells nice and is very cheap. Unfortunately, it has sparkles in it. You can't really see them, but still. other then that, the company called Clean makes a really nice one. Unfortunately, it's 40$

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

Angel hair mist.

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

Chanel no5 does a lovely one. Or even some dry shampoos can make your hair smell nice x

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

I agree with Herbal essences shampoo cuz it really stays on for a long time ... also .. U can use a little hairspray on ur hair after blowdrying it or something ( just a quick spray all over)

most hairsprays smell good so that might help too

Hair Fragrance/Perfume?

umberto gianini do a great one it smells gorgeous plus its not expensive

How do I straighten my hair naturally?

I am loking to straighten my hair naturally- meaning not using a blow-dryer, hot iron straightener, or getting a perm. I've used most of the hair-destroying products, but if there are any types of shampoos, conditioners, products of that sort, or a something I can make at home. My hair type is medium-long, and a little wavy(I wouldn't say straight). Thanks for the answers!!!

How do I straighten my hair naturally?

If you are willling to spend alot of money, definitely try Biolage Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. If not, try Dove Advacned Care Sheer Moisture shampoo and conditioner. Also use TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Creme and Garnier Fructis Style Sleek %26amp; Shine Anti-Humidity Styling Cream when you get out of the shower. Then let it air dry in a low ponytail.

Wash your hair every other day and rinse your hair in cold water right before you get out of the shower (only if you washed your hair that day because otherwise it'll get extremly frizzy). Don't brush or comb your hair when it's wet, even though it will help make it straight, it'll also make it frizzy and damage it.

Good luck! =)

How do I straighten my hair naturally?

try a leave-in conditioner like infusion 23 and brush it often with a wide-bristled brush as it dries (don't pull, yank, etc as this can cause damage) ... your hair shape is genetically pre-determined and defined in the shape of the follicles and pores the hair grows out of ... so it may not work or for very long ...

How do I straighten my hair naturally?

It's odd, but ever since I started using the Head and Shoulders shampoo, my hair has gotten straighter. LOL. Air dry your hair while combing it down. And while sleeping, don't sleep on it funky, because it usually gives my hair these awful huge curls and bumps.

But that's just me. Hope I helped. xD

How do I straighten my hair naturally?

I just started using Dove shampoo (moisturizing for normal hair) and conditioner, and after shower I use Paul Mitchel Original leave in conditioner.

After your hair is a little air dried, make a tight and low pony tail. Let it dry that way.

This helps me a lot.

If it helps to know, I have long hair and it's a little wavy.

Good luck ...

Why can't I make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon?

Whenever I get my hair styled at the salon it looks great. My hair has some natural curl in it. I usually wash it every three days. I hot roll it almost every day and it still gets frizzy by the end of the day. When my hair stylist fixes it she uses only a brush and a blow dryer and it looks so straight and shiny and does not frizz. I bought the redken straightening gel that she uses. I just cannot seem to get my hair that striaght with only a blow dryer and a brush. any tips or suggestions? thanks.

Why can't I make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon?

she probably has a top-of-the-line blowdryer on top of years of experience. the most important thing to think about when ur blowdrying straight is to wait until the hair is about 80% dry. not only does this cut down damage by A LOT, it also reduces the risk of horrible frizzies. the second thing is to invest in a good natural-bristle round or paddle brush to smooth out the hair (i use a round brush, because it can curl AND straighten =D). and when ur blowdrying, divide your hair into three sections and put a ponytail holer in 2 of them. it makes it easier not to miss any sections. also, point the nozzle down the strand of your hair (never up or neutral) and avoid blowing the tips too much to avoid dead-looking ends

hope i helped!!!!

Why can't I make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon?

its thge way you straigten it and blowdry it

Why can't I make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon?

Because these girls have had years of vocational school training, and Professional training in a Salon. They know precise measurements of parting at the hair shaft, spritzers that make the hair shine etc...In other words they are Professionals, and that can be very expensive.

Why can't I make my hair look like it does when I leave the salon?

I think it has to do a lot with the blow dryer you are using. You may also be drying your hair completely, and she probably doesn't...that will also cause it to frizz by the end of the day. You should do a conditioning treatment...and see if it is easier for you to accomplish the look she gives your hair;)

My hair was still curly/wavy when wet after a thermal straightening process. Normal?

Hi all. I just came home from having my hair thermally straightened. The problem is, everyone says their hair was stick-straight after the treatment. Mine was not, before styling. Here are the steps used:

1. porosity equalizer applied.

2. The actual chemical product was applied with a brush, processed, then rinsed.

3. My hair was dried to remove 80-90% of the moisture. A flat iron was used. This part looked great!

4. A neutralizer was applied.

5. My hair was rinsed to remove the neutralizer. My hair was still wavy. It's wasn't as springy as my normal curls, but still not stick-straight.

6. Hair was styled straight with a blow-dryer and creme.

So my question is, is it normal for my hair to have been wavy after washing out the neutralizer? Should it have been stick-straight? I've never had this done before and don't know anyone else who has. I have 48 hours to go before I can wash my hair and I'm so worried. Did I just waste my money? Please share your experiences!

My hair was still curly/wavy when wet after a thermal straightening process. Normal?

If you wait however long they told you to wait, and you wash it, and it's curly/wavy, go back and tell them...they should redo it free if it's not right.

Does wearing a visor beanie help shape it? What would it do?

Does it look good (preferred answers coming from teens please)?

NO GUESSING.

Shaggy hair help (pics inside)?

Sorry, I am not a teen, but a 43 year old woman and cannot help but smile and say, you are so damn cute.

Your hair is perfect for a teenager, and if you need help go to a good stylist-not a place that charges only 14 for a haircut. The stylist will recommend different styles for you. Then if they mess it up buy a cool hat. Do not use a visor beanie to shape it.

Shaggy hair help (pics inside)?

no hats!!...it will just make your hair the shape od the cap or w/e and make it look really dumb

Shaggy hair help (pics inside)?

Hey im 15 but that hairstyle is SOOOO CUTE on guys. but i dont know how they do it but my guess would be just to have it cut longish and shaggy *show those pics to whoevers gonna cut your hair) and then just use shampoo and conditioner. dont blow dry it. that will make it long and straight.

Straitening Hair?

I have chemically straitened hair, my hair is naturally thick, somewhat healthy, and very very strong. The dark side of this is that my natural hair is growing out and it's very curly, at this point all it is doing is adding volume (which I absolutely hate) and on days I want perfectly straight hair I have to go and straighten almost every piece to reduce volume, (and this takes about 2.5 hours with a bunch of products, a ceramic hair straightener, a brush, and a blow dryer) I have short lower jaw lengthened hair, this makes straitening the back a challenge (also, getting it cut or thinned is not an option, I very recently got that done).

So I am looking for a product that can help me get something that looks like this:

http://i13.tinypic.com/2uh4vhj.gif

To go as close as it can to this (and shorten the process):

Straitening Hair?

Use pantene smooth and sleek or pantene extra liso. use fantasia frizz buster. mabye get a new iron like FHI or Paul Mitchell. Also ask a black salon they should help you.

Straitening Hair?

Go to the salon and tell them your problem. They'll probably give you a product to help and show you how to do your hair like that better. And maybe straigten your hair so it stays like that for a while.

Straightening hair possible?

i have pretty curly hair. but, ive gotten it pretty thick and healthy.

for that reason, and the reason it just gets frizzy and nasty, i dont really straighten it with a ceramic straightener or blow dryer.

i really like//want straight hair though.

is there anything i can do that is safe for my hair but will get it straight?

and im not looking for a permanent straight...maybe just a way to relax it even just into waves for a couple days//weeks//whatev.

thanx.

Straightening hair possible?

Unless you use a flat iron it won't get straighten my dear. Invest in a Chi. It's totally worth it.

Straightening hair possible?

they have at home straighting systems at the super markets, but i think they dry out your hair, or you could go to a salon and get it relaxed its not permanent

Straightening hair possible?

i used to have the same problem but then i bought a really good straightener.it's 100% ceramic so it wont damage yer hair.and it wont take as long as a regular straightener it was expensive but it was so worth it. if u dont want to use a har dryer get wet/dry version of this kind of straightener it costs more but there r garunteed results

Straightening hair possible?

If you have naturally curly hair the only way to straighten it is a straightening iron or a very large barrel curling iron (the largest you can find). My sister's and I have found this is only only thing that works with very thick curly hair. All three of us have thick curly hair, and we all use a straightening cream that protects the hair from the heat, and use some type of iron on it.

Straightening hair possible?

Use an ionic flat iron. It will not curl back easly.

Solia makes a Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron.

According to the Solia flat iron website, "tourmaline,

a precious stone, is used to generate up to 6 times more

negative ions than traditional ceramic irons".( $75/85)

Major hair problem!!!?

my hair is SO FRICKIN oily!!!!!!!!! (naturally)

are there ANY treatments whatsoever that could make it dryer?

or ANYTHING?!!!

I WANT DRY HAIR.

Major hair problem!!!?

I know lemon juice will make your hair dry

Major hair problem!!!?

ask a salon for some diffrent shampoo that makes ur hair less oily...

Major hair problem!!!?

sounds counterintuitive but washing it less might help. Washing hair daily causes your body to make more oil.

Major hair problem!!!?

U have some dry shampoo on the market, try find them online, not sure of the brands. dont use any oils or anything that would make it shiny

Major hair problem!!!?

hmmmmm.....well I would try prell maybe, or go to your local hair stylist and ask him/her.

Wavy hair product?

I straighten my hair almost every day and blow dry it often, but my hair is really suffering from it...a lot of breakage or just being generally dry and brittle. I plan on not using my straightener or blow dryer for quite awhile BUT..my hair is naturally wavy and when I let it air-dry its to the point where its just very blah looking...what product can I put in my hair to make either make it more curly, or what kind of sleep-in curlers or whatever can I use to avoid blow drying but have it look pretty %26amp; healthy?

Wavy hair product?

TIGI Catwalk (aka as a BedHead line) curls rock products will make your waves turn into curls. i have naturally wavy hair and using the curl amplifier creme and the curl booster spray turn my waves into ringlets. if you want it to dry a little faster and to add a little more curl, blast your hair quick with a diffuser on low or cool heat setting.

Also, what would wearing a beanie do to your hair?

NO GUESSING.

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

it truly depends on your hair type.

his looks think but straight and course. and also natural

try just brushing your hair forward when it wet. it may also help to have a cut similiar to this. some cuts prevent that look.

a friend of mine puts a loose fitted on his hair when its damp to get a perfect flip. try it. a beanie will probably just cause static and frizz.

also just try after you get out of the shower not combing your hair but using your fingers to pull forward. it'll give you more of a shaggy look.

but truly. it's hard to dupilcate a look to the exact. experiment with your hair to find a good way of making your hair shaggy in a way that looks good on you.

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

You'll need to by a straightener and have your hair cut into layers like this. It's fairly simple to cut it like that, so any salon should do.

Straighten your hair every time you wash it, and it should be fine. Some guys I know don't wash their hair every day so it stays straight longer, and they look fine.

If your hair is thick, it will hold the shape longer, so wearing a beanie wouldn't do too much damage. Maybe a little static.

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

Why did you ask this same question about 11 times?

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

wow your hair is really thick .... try cutting it into layers ..... i think it looks good though = )

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

Ur cute. Like ur hair color...but if u don't want it thicker volumizing makes it more..voluminous!?! AKA THICKER.....

AND... Garnier makes some sleek N shine or Long N strong..smells fruity I luv it. NvR seen a guy sport some Garnier locks. Get it cut in a surfer style, maybe add some nat. looking blonde hilights and sport your Garnier Surfer Shag!!!!

Oh hold up I wrote all that 4 nothing. Its not u. dammit. Well yah, use volume, blow dry your hair and getit in a surfery shag. That cut would be cute w/ a beanie.

P.S. Im a teen....ur welcome

P3ACe

Shaggy hair (pic inside) =)?

You made alot of threads but this is the latest one and here is what I have to say.

If you want your hair to be thinner, and not as thick, you have to get it layered. And if you do not want that, then you could try a hair straightner, try looking in walmart, target, etc. you can find a cheap one there for around 7-10 dollars, but I don't know how well that will work, I had thick hair and used it and it didnt make much of a difference, maybe it will be different for you.

Really the only way to make it thinner, is like i said, get it layered.

I got so sick of having my hair long, it was so thick and curly, and was hard to control, so I buzzed my head, and it turned out to look fine and was alot easier taking care of, thats another option.

And your hair hair looks fine, you look like a regular normal person, like I would see everyday, your probably just worrying too much.

And wearing a beanie probably wouldnt do much, I tried that back when my hair was long, it just made it flat and really wavy at the bottoms.

I'm 16 also but I am a male and I'm not gay, I was just trying to help you out.

Hope it works out for you and good luck.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

I usually don't need to blowdry my hair for anymore than 30 minutes to get it pin straight, however I find it easier to just use hot rollers before hand and then to blow dry right after to get it the way I want it. What is a good shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair healthy, including a good blow dryer and most importantly heat protector. For the cold weather I want to make sure I don't get sick again by going to sleep with wet hair. So I need to make sure it's kept healthy if I'm going to be doing this about three times a week. So please help if you can. I'm trying to grow my hair out, and I don't want it to get all fried like it did last time when I used to straighten it with the hot iron. [No more of that.] Thank you.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

Hi,

You can find highly useful resources for managing your hair on http://www.healthonlineinfo.info . It's a very useful webguide dealing with hair related issues.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

I blowdry my hair pin straight and then hot iron it for good measure and somehow its still healthy and beautiful.

I use a shampoo and conditioner called Nioxin which is more for thin/chemcially treated hair (mine falls into both categories) but I doubt it would harm normal hair. I also have a protien mist called System 911 by Hayashi. If you want something easier to find/cheaper, try Catwalk Fast-fixx it's a really good leave in conditioner.

hope that helps.

Keeping Hair Healthy?

I would recommend Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and their Bliss thermal spray. Nioxin has all different levels to suit your own personal hair needs. The thermal spray is great too because it also detangles and bodifies, all in one! Also, try wearing a hat in the winter to help with weather conditions that can be very drying and damaging.

Formal Dance Hair?

have cotillion (formal dance) tomorrow. I am wearing a teal and black halter neck dress and a teal necklace. I am currently trying to work on hairstyles and everything I try isn't working. I have extremely light blonde (natural) hair. It very voluminous and wavy naturally. I own a hair straightener, straightening spray, hair spray, styling cream, hair curler, heated curlers, leave in conditioner, scrunching spray and blow dryer. Any tips on scrunching my hair or any other styles are appreciated. Thanks!

Formal Dance Hair?

The pony tail is classic. Put some tight candy curls (ringlets) in the pony tail and it will look bouncy and cute with that teal. You could also wear a cute hair bow to dress it up or clip some crystals in the part that's not in a pony tail to give it a more sophisticated look.

I would go with an updo. A little curly would work. I would start by combing your hair with a wide tooth come and a de tangler. Then pull it back into a high ponytail. Wrap the ponytail around and clip with a big clip up. If your hair is long enough it will hang over the clip. If not, try a down wavy hairstyle. Just rub product into your hands and scrunch. ALWAYS spray with flexible hairspray.

Any hair advice?

My hair is very long, fairly thick and is a dark brown with natural red highlights. I have virgin hair...the only thing I've ever done to it is cut it.

I try to take care of my hair. I condition it daily, use a soft bristle brush and get regular hair cuts. I do use a blow dryer (I know, shame on me!), but I try to let my hair dry 80% on it's own and then use low heat to dry it the rest of the way. I don't put my hair in tight bands that will break it off (at home if I want my hair up I wear scrunchies...great for long hair!) and I also sleep with it down so it doesn't break off. Is there anything else I should be doing to keep it healthy? It's fairly shiny on it's own but I'm thinking about using a hot oil treatment every now and then, but I don't know anything about that. Luckily, I got my dad's hair. It's healthy without me having to really do anything to it. However, I want to make sure it stays that way! Thanks :-)

Any hair advice?

sounds like ur doing a good job and if u ever wanna try some new cool hairstyles go to:

Any hair advice?

i can't think of anything else you can do, you seem to be doing everything you can, so i think you're good! =~}

Any hair advice?

You seem to be doing everything right. Just make sure to keep a healthy diet also because hair growth and thickness comes from the inside. On the outside, you're doing fine.

Any hair advice?

Wow, you have awesome hair. Don't do the hot oil.

Straightening hair?

i want to hav straight hair because my hair is really wavy but frizzy and poofy. i dont want to use a blow dryer cause those really make my hair poofy and more frizzy. i'm trying to stop using my hair straightner because i use it all the time. is there anyway i can keep my hair straight without having to go to the salon and getting treatments or chemicals put into my hair?

Straightening hair?

Don't use a hair straightener, it will only make your hair worser. Use a shampoo and conditioner for your hair type I reccomend these products:

Sunsilk de frizz

Sunsilk anti poof

Herbal Essences none of your frizzness

Garnier Fructis Curl and shine.

Get a hair treatment like a deep condition in the salon so your

hair will be healthier.

Straightening hair?

just bu y a straghtener

Straightening hair?

Use velcro rollers..the largest sizi will kind of strectch out the waves and the frizziness. BEWARE- there will be lots of body. You won't get pin straight, flat hair. But, it will be gorgeous and body-ful...if that's a word.

Straightening hair?

You CAN use a blow dryer, you just need to use a good quality, boar's hair bristle round brush to pull your hair while drying it. Also, use a straightening gel before you start drying and silicone de-frizzer afterwards. You should get good results, although your arms may be sore from holding the hair dryer above your head for the amount of time it takes to get wavy hair dry!!

Straightening hair?

I know you are trying to avoid over styling and chemical treatments, but the best long term solution would be to have it chemically straightened. I know it may steal the moisture from your hair temporarily- but that is easy to get back with deep conditioning and it will last for a long time. That way daily upkeep is minimal. Good luck!

Straightening hair?

one word, conditioner.Use a really good conditioner. After that blow dry your hair. Blow dry it flat down. Don't go crazy with the blow dryer. Then put in leave in conditioner and brush through your hair.

Straightening hair?

I have really thick hair and I straighten it a lot it the winter. My hair is also frizzy and poofy. I use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner and then I use this stuff Bio Silk that difrizzes my hair and then I blow dry and straighten with the Chi. Cheap straighteners dotn work good and your hair ends u poofter than if you use a good one like the Chi or Sedu

Hair on top sticks out and up...?

I straighten my hair with a flat iron and blow dryer. And I always have these pesky hairs that like to stick up and out on the top parts of my hair. What is a good product to use to correct this. I have tried different stuff I have tried hairspray, but too much makes the hair look like helemt head and just bad altogether. Too little doesn't really make them stay down for long. Serums to smooth the hair don't seem to work. And I have used a very thick hair glue that my husband uses to mold his hair. That does ok and if only a little is used it's not too bad.

Can anyone recommend anything? I am so tired of these pesky hairs.

Hair on top sticks out and up...?

part your hair to the side

Hair on top sticks out and up...?

put hair sray on it

Hair on top sticks out and up...?

First all of those hairs are from breakage (if you didn't know).

Second i know you have tried hair spray but try using it like this (it works for me). Spray the hair spray in your hands, rub them together then smooth over hair. You can do this several times. Its totally different than if you spray your hair then press it down with your hands trust me!

If this doesn't work try a little bit of gel.

If this doesn't work try a little (and i mean little other wise your hair will look greasy) olive oil.

If this doesn't work try a little conditioner (yup on dry hair!)

If this doesn't work try a little lotion.

All of these work for me...i experiment with my hair a lot lol.

Hope I helped you out.

How can I fix my bad hair?

I am 12 years old, yeah, I don't know much about hair products or methods.

Anyways, EVERYTHING when I wake up, I will have a weird looking mohawk. So wet it and start combing. Then on my head, the two top corners, hairs start sticking out a bit. I try to comb it down. but it will never work. So I just have to let it be and go to school like this. I also take a blow dryer and blow it on my hair while I comb by head down. My hair would puff up in a few minutes everytime after I leave the shower. Its so annoying, so I am forced to take one at night. Anyways, if I want my hair perfect, I wear a tight hat over night, and my hair would be flattened when I wake up. But, it is annoying. Are there any other easier ways for my situation?

What you think is unique in a very bad way now you will probably feel very grateful for when you are 30. I guess the easiest thing you could do would be to have your hair cut extremely short or do what I do - live in a hat all year round. Hats are pretty fashionable these days or a bandanna, that's a pretty cool look and when all else fails, remember this : there is always someone with a worse problem than yours. Goodluck buddy!

How can I fix my bad hair?

Sounds like you need a product to weigh your hair down a little bit so it won't be so puffy. It sounds like you have a few things going on --- cowlicks, where your hair is growing in many directions, and fine hair (you said it puffs up). You need something to give it some weight so it will lay in the direction you want it to go. I'd try something like a styling 'mud' or probably better yet some kind of hair wax. Hair wax will make your hair stick together some (but in a cute, piece-y way that's in right now) and keep it from looking so puffy.

Gel will just make it look wet and like 1993 called and wants its hair back. Go with something heavier, like hair wax.

How can I fix my bad hair?

after you shower, put a liiiiiiiittle bit of gel in it and let it dry. when you wake up you should wet it completely and put gel in it :]

hopefully this helps! xxxxxxxx

How can I fix my bad hair?

You have afew options.

The next time you get your hair cut, tell your barber/hairdresser what you've just mentioned. They can cut the hair in a way that makes it sit better.

Or you could go the other extreme and grow your hair a little longer. The length should cause those sticking out bits to lie flatter.

Also, try to invest in a hair wax or gel. Have one recommended to you by a shop assistant. For now, take moms hairspray and spray it on those areas that need to be tamed - really wet the hair with it, and pat it down till the spray dries (afew mins). This is a quick way to temporarily solve the problem till u can get your hands on some gel. Goodluck :)

How can I fix my bad hair?

First of all after you get out of the shower at night put gel (any medium hold gel you get at Wal-mart or the drug store will work) in it by rubbing the gel between your fingers and then all over your hair. Comb your hair the way you want it and then dry it with the blow dryer on low just to set the style. IT sounds like alot of work but only takes a second. That way your hair won't be so hard to fix when you wake up in the morning.

So when you get up all you have to do is wet your hair a little with your hands and put a little more gel in it and dry again.

Try this - it should work and the chics will dig it.

No get doesn't leave white stuff in your hair - if it does....try another brand.

How can I fix my bad hair?

No if you get quality gel, it won't dry and leave white in your hair. BUT I suggest a moose instead.

You staighten your hair with a ceramic instrument, that heats up. It's very bad for your hair, and takes a lot of time. I don't think this is a good option for you.

Hair + Humidity?

Im just wondering if it is any different for hair whether or not you wash it/style it the night before or wash it/style it in the morning? Is the humidity less likely to mess frizz/mess your hair up if you take a shower the night before since the heat of the blow dryer and straightener is on your hair the night before as opposed to that same day? if that makes sense...or does it effect it the same no matter what?

Hair + Humidity?

I find its better to style the night before to avoid frizzies.

Hair + Humidity?

guess it depends on your hair...but the humidity makes mine frizzy either way... hope this helps

Hair + Humidity?

I don't think its when you style/wash it that matters, its how. you need to use a shampoo and conditioner with enough moisture in it that it wont be flyaway, and dry an anti-frizz product (with silicone) into the hair.

Hair Problemsss.?

okay my hair is horrible wen i use a blow dryer.and i cant curl my hair with a curling iron because it frizzes.i want my to curl my hair because my hair is naturally straight and its too plain and i want a change.but the biggest problem with my hair is the fly aways.u noe the lil pieces of hair that like stick up.yeah well there so annoying.so0o help wud be nice.lol.thankss.

Hair Problemsss.?

to tame your flyaways make usre your hair is moistuized. Smooth hair stays smooth. Maybe use Frizzeaze by John Frieda - relatively inexpensive. My hair is also straight, but if I scrunch it in my my fingers with gel when it is wet and then blow dry I can get a gentle wave. Maybe you should try that instead of a curling iron b/c that can also dry out your hair. Also try different looks with it straight, half up half down, one side up, pull the front hair up and back into that puffed up style. Good luck

I've got damaged brown, shoulder-length hair, how to make it healthy, shiny and cure it?

Hey,

I have experimented with my hair a lot, with all kinds of highlights, different variations of black, light brown etc...I also used to use blow-drying a lot (like every morning).

For the past 5 months have not coloured it,neither used blow-dryer, but had all kinds of hair masks, expensive conditioners etc...now it kinda looks better, but my hair used to b straight, and now is kinda weavy, because its dry now. Is there any way I can keep them always straight without an iron?

I use it when I go partying (like 1-2 times a week),but on the other days just let it dry out naturally, which does not look as good. Or should I just be patient and wait till my natural hair will grow out?It will last for a long time though...and I want to have quiet long hair!

I am also going to Ibiza in 3 weeks, which means my hair will be wavy all the time because of the sea, and damaged more because of the sun and saulty sea...any way I can protect my hair and keep it straight same time?thanks

I've got damaged brown, shoulder-length hair, how to make it healthy, shiny and cure it?

First of all you need a good trim to get the damaged end off, this will make your hair healthier and grow faster. My hair is wavy also and I cant keep it straight so I just opt for a loose curl. I suggest going into a salon, get the trim and some good professional advice while you are there.

I've got damaged brown, shoulder-length hair, how to make it healthy, shiny and cure it?

the sun, heat, and dye jobs can really take a tole on your hair. the best way to bring it back to life, or so i've learned, is to just wash and condition with a super-gentle shampoo daily. don't put any products or spray in it and let it dry naturally. if it is wavy, put your hairdryer on the lowest setting, not 'cool' but not really hot. dry your hair and use a barrel brush to sort of 'straighten' it up while it's drying.

best of luck =]

I've got damaged brown, shoulder-length hair, how to make it healthy, shiny and cure it?

Look i know that many people may say that u need to use this kind of hair cream or another my advise for u is simple use virgin olive oil use approx 2 tea spoon after each shower dry ur hair well and than take the oil rube it on both your hands %26amp; than massage ur hair with it olive oil has to many nutritions that give ur hair back its shine it may seems crasy but ask about it I know it works.

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

My hair is pretty curly and I need to know how to straighten. All my hair is the same length... I think, my bangs to to the middle of my nose and I want to straighten it. But I want it to be fall-down straight instead of extremely stiff and blow dryers give me a hair a "fro" effect and combing it doesn't help a bit... any suggestions?

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

Use a straight iron on low heat (if you have one with adjustable temperatures) or you can get a flat brush and put some tension on your hair and blow dry it. Or even try drying it (completely dry) with a cotton t-shirt. That should get rid of the fro.

I have curly hair also and that's usually what I do.

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

Straight iron it. Then add some mousse or something and texture it up a bit so it's not stiff flat.

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

Don't ever blow dry your hair if it is curly

that;s the #1 sin

just let it air dry with a little hairspray

then striaghten it

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

right when u get out of the shower put antifrizz stuff in ur hair then dry it w/ a comb. then striaten it on ur higest temp . then shake ur head and brush w/the comb and wallla

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

ok if your hair is that curly get a perm. they work vary well i had the same problem with my hair, but only use a perm one once a year you don't want those curls to never come back do u ?

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

What makes my hair look very shiny, healthy and flat is drying with a blow dryer after the shower. Then apply biosilk (at drug stores...Target/Walmart). The directions tell you the amount to apply depending on your hair length. If you have a ceramic flat iron, it would have directions on which temp to put it on depending on hair type. My hair is fairly straight, but very thick so out of a 1-10 I straighten it on a 7 or so. Good luck.

How to straighten semi-short curly hair?

dont straighten it. guys look good w/ curly hair. just gel it and go.

Keri Russells hair in august rush...?

I really liked the way her hair looked in the movie, how can I style mine to look like that? I have somewhat tight, small curly hair that can get frizzy at times, and I try to avoid using a blow-dryer because it really damages my hair. Any ideas?

-Also any good pictures of her hair that I can show a hair stylist?

Growing hair help!?

Is putting ur hair up in a ponytail when its wet or sleeping with ur hair in a ponytail bad for ur hair? I already know these hair tips:

-don't ur hot irons or blow dryers (etc.)

-get ur hair cut at least once a month

-don't use a brust use a wide tooth pick

-don't dry hair with a towel squeeze the extra water out

-don't but any products in ur hair

-And take vitamins to help hair grow!

Is there anything else i should kno? If so plz let me kno! Thank you =D

Oh by the way my hair is a little bit past my shoulders! =D........

Also I heard cutting ur hair the same night of a full moon helps ur hair grow faster. Is that true?

Growing hair help!?

Yes, putting your hair up when it's wet is bad. Hair is most fragile when it is wet so it has a higher chance of breaking even the force applied is just a little bit more. Putting them in ponytail, can you imagine how much tension you are applying to you beloved hair. Furthermore, if hair is not let dry naturally, it's not healthy for your scalp. People tend to forget the fundamental of beautiful fair comes from a healthy scalp!

Nonsense. Full moon wont have anything to do with hair growing. It's so not scientific! Well, it's good to know the fact that hair actually grows the most at 11am(no matter what region you are in, because your biology clock is fixed).

Maybe you could do some massage to you scalp. Start from the crown of your head. It helps the blood circulation of the scalp (you could never underestimate the importance of scalp). When the cells at scalp have enough of oxygen and vitamins they tend to "work" better. Dont have a clue how to massage, you could just run your fingers through your hair, making sure they are purposely "brushing" the scalp. You could feel it even after just a few strokes.

Growing hair help!?

When it comes to having beautiful, full hair my best answer would be henna. Make sure you don't use lemon or lime juice in your recipe when you make the henna as they can cause your hair to break if it's already weak. Rain water is usually acidic enough to get a nice colour out of the henna as well and won't harm your hair further. Try using the henna as often as you can it should thicken your hair and keep it healthy. If you don't want the red of the henna you may want to look for "neutral" or "colourless" henna. It will do as nice a job for your hair but without the colour. With the neutral henna you just have to mix it with tap water, this should be used as often as possible. If there are any skin problems on your scalp the henna or neutral henna will both help fight it. The last idea I have would be to take coconut oil and massage your head with it every night. Make sure when you're washing out the oil you're using a gentle shampoo, even better a henna shampoo. I wish you luck.

What should i do with my hair????

My hair is thick and frizzy and i straighten it every time i take a shower. Now, I'm not sure if i should let it air dry or blow dry it. Or if i should use this wet-to-dry straightner but does this ruin your hair more than using a blow dryer??

What should i do with my hair????

I've got pretty much the same hair and i personally find this the best:

i let it air dry for as long as i possible can but before it gets big and way-too-volume-y i put it into a ponytail.

after that, everything besides the part under the scrunchy gets dry, and the wet part i blow dry.

it's works pretty well for me- keeps my hair nice and straight but not flat!

What should i do with my hair????

hair products

What should i do with my hair????

I say let it air dry sometimes and blow dry it others. Blow drying does damage your hair, but not if you dont do it alot. And i prefer using a normal straightener, not wet to dry. Dry helps your hair more, and since straighteners take the moiture out of your hair, you want to have your hair completely dry before you use a normal straightener.

What should i do with my hair????

I have the same problem.

When you know your going to be home for the day, just let it air dry and give your hair a break. The wet-to-dry straightener KILLS your hair. I've used it, and it makes your hair more frizzier, which is not the way to go. Although, 'Vidal Sassoon Ceramic' straightener works great. It's flat and black with gold plates. It works wonders and it makes your hair straight no matter how curly your hair is. It costs around $20-25 i believe...

And after, if you still have frizzies, just spray some hairspray into your hands and then put it on your hair, which keeps the frizzies down.

Hope this helps!

What hair product can i use with having to blow dry?

my hair is thick, frizzy, and wavy. i hate using blow dryers i want my hair to be frizz less and more straight

What hair product can i use with having to blow dry?

you can use a good anti-frizz serum...

garnier fructis and dove have good ones

their cheap too

if you are blowdring your hair straight

point the dryer at the floor it can prevent frizz

What hair product can i use with having to blow dry?

the only thing I can think to use right now is a straightening shampoo and conditioner. You also could get a product made by paul mitchell it is called super skinny serum and just put it in your hair when it is wet and then blow dry your hair. and make sure when you blow dry that you are brushing or combing it while you are doing it that should help make it straighter.

What hair product can i use with having to blow dry?

Either CHI Silk Infusion or Biosilk Silk Therapy help more than anything for frizz, but it won't give you straight hair. You won't get straight hair without heated tools unless you can do a loose braid or twist for it to dry in.

How do u get straight hair?

Hi. My hair is curly and i hate it! how do i get my hair straight without using a blow dryer or flat iron. is there some kind of special shampoo or something?

How do u get straight hair?

No. If your hair is naturally curly theres no shampoo or serum or spray that will make your hair straight, If you use any of these things without blowdrying and straightening it aswell as using a straightening product then your hair will end up frizzy and confussed and just a right mess, So buy products for curly hair to help straightening it then blow dry and straighten, using these products wont dry out your hair when drying and using straightners. xBx

How do u get straight hair?

straigten it you dummy!

How do u get straight hair?

There are realaxers..CHEMICALS and stuff but they will ruin your hair

Try a flat iron dont be lazy

How do u get straight hair?

uhh.no. you could get it perminatly straightened at the hairdresser. I forget what it's called. straighteners are it really. Sorry.

How do u get straight hair?

well i use this product and a straitiner but it will make it alot more straight... try sunsilk straitening there is a "Syrum" (thats wut i use) but also a shamp and condish, ill bet if u use them it'll straighten up at least a lil!

hope this helps! straighteners best tho!

How do u get straight hair?

actually i use a perm (regular, super)

How do u get straight hair?

If your hair is real curly im afraid you will have to use a straightener.

How do u get straight hair?

Sleek shampoo and conditioner by Matrix, then put some light hold gel in your hair and keep combing it until it's almost dry, hit it with the blow dryer until completely dry. Then use a flat iron. That should make it super straight. You might be able to do the gel comb thing without the blow dryer or iron, but you won't get the results you want unless you use a chemical straightener. The new Japanese ones are really good.

How do u get straight hair?

My friend has really curly hair and she uses a CHI straightener and she can straighten her hair in less than 10 minutes... I think buying a good straightener is the best decision... It's better than putting nasty chemicals in your hair or doing something permanent

How do u get straight hair?

no the straighting iron is the only thing that can make your hair straight sorry.

How do u get straight hair?

There are hair relaxing treatments that really help but they might do some damage to your hair. So I would advise using a hair straightener daily or whenever you decide you want straight hair. just make sure you use a good shampoo and deep conditioner I would recomend redkin all soft, and redkin spray starch and chi iron guard when using a straightening iron, make sure its a good ceramic one that helps any damage. Its really hard to make someones hair straight without having to use a flat iron or blow dryer the best thing I could say is check into some relaxing treatments but like I said they cause some substantial damage and split ends so I would really just stick to a flat iron. Hope I could help good luck hun.

How do u get straight hair?

one thing you could do is go to a salon and say that the same thing again oxoxoxo

tell her that you have been going to the same person since you were a kid, and wouldnt want to hurt your hairdressers feelings.

Hair Advice and how do i cut it ????

My hair im in the process of growing its pretty long now but i wana grow maybe 3 more inches of it then get a little trim the hair dresser alredy thinks i could get one but they go scissor happy and ill cry if they cut it literally lol i look horrible with short hair my hairs down to my boobs lol and i need it to my lower back not too long but reasonable and its a bit fryed at the ends because i use high heat with my dryer since i have very thick hair im mixed with latina and european to so my hair texture is a little diffrent then caucasian hair similar but not quite is thier any way i can cut it or some sort of technique of cuttin they can do so it wont look like i chopped my hair all off and i also dont like it cut so blunt across the bottom i like an angled cut so it falls more diagonal any ideas :)

Hair Advice and how do i cut it ????

to continue the growth it needs to be cut.. because you dont want long... damaged hair.. cutting the split ends off will really help the hair get healthy because if you let it grow w.out a haircut the split ends will break and then ur hair shafts will be very weak. Believe me i was just growing my hair for about 5/6 months it was just past my boobs then i got it cut to 2 inches past my collar bonee b.c it was so fried from the heat..now 3 weeks later its bak to the length it was b4 but healthier!

Is this how you should scrunch your hair..?

1:take a shower

2:get out of the shower and squeeze all water out and wrap your hair on a towel

3:dry your hair with towel so it wont be dripping that much

4:untanngle your hair with wide toothed comb

5:get one secton of your hair and get mousse and start scrunching it up and down and go all over your head go back and check add some more if needed

6:get blow dryer with diffuser and scrunch hair up and down with hands then with diffuser by it self go all over head

7:add hairspray and done?

anything else im forgetting?

oh and by the way should i comb my hair before starting to scrunch

thank you

Is this how you should scrunch your hair..?

No, do not comb your hair and do not wrap it up in a towel. Wrapping it in a towel will cause it to be too dry, tangled and will make it frizzy. You may scrunch your hair WITH a towel to soak up excess moisture, but do not wrap it around your head. If you have naturally straight hair, use a gel instead of a mousse. It will hold better.

Is this how you should scrunch your hair..?

Well i do the first 3 steps but I don't comb my hair after my shower because it'll just go straight (my hair is naturally straight but if i mousse it after showering it'll stay curly.) Then I scrunch different parts of my hair using tons of mouse, then tie my hair up in lots of different places (sort of like a few different buns all over my hair. Lol, looks a bit weird but I do it at night right b4 I go to bed). Next morning, depending on how much mousse i've put in, it may be a bit frizzy but it's generally curly. And my hair is naturally dead straight!

I don't blow dry it, I just go to sleep with my hair tied up all wet and moussed. So by the next morning when I undo it it still retains its dampness and it's still curly. I don't add hairspray or whatever.

Is this how you should scrunch your hair..?

I guess that is how you scunch it if you have natural straight hair and want to have more of a wavy effect. It is a lot easier if you perm your hair or have curly hair, all you do is apply either gel or moose on your slightly damp hair and start scrunching it, then you just let it dry and you will have define curls that are frizz free. If you do have straight hair you can do what you wrote but I think it will look nicer if you try to have curls or wavy hair before you apply any products and start scrunching it. Try using cold curls, curly iron, or even hot curls to make your hair curly/wavy, but if you do DON'T WET YOUR HAIR, just go straight to adding either gel or moose and start scrunching. You can also do what the girl above me said and just put moose and put your hair on a bun overnight or for a few hours and let it down, it will make your hair wavy just make sure you add a little more gel or moose in the morning to make it more define. Try either ways they will all help you scunch your hair, I'm not sure what kind of look you want but it never hurts to try... good luck

Hair Rollers?

My girlfriend says that the only way to curl her straight hair is by putting rollers into her hair when its still wet,

She seems to spend most of her time in rollers and sometimes she even sleeps in them as she prefers curly hair to straight

she had a bad perm a few years ago and refuses to get it permed she doesnt like using heated appliances such as heated rollers, or curling irons, Would a hooded dryer be damaging to her hair if I buy one for her?

I dont mind her being in rollers, But not in bed

Hair Rollers?

Put up with it and shut up.

At least she is trying to look after her hair and I bet that she looks great when her hair is finished

If she dosn't want to perm it because of a bad experience before I would not try to coax her into getting another one as you would probably get the blame if it went wrong,

By all means buy her a hairdryer. But they are noisy things to sit under and can take up to an hour to dry hair in rollers

Hair Rollers?

a curling iron would work

Hair Rollers?

She just got one bad perm, she should try another salon, one that is recommended to her by a friend. No, a hooded dryer would not damage her hair, but those rollers do! I grew up using rollers and I was relieved when something else came out to give us curly hair. They also have steam rollers that work just as well and she doesn't have to sleep on them!

Hair Rollers?

curling irons do work, and there are products you she can use to keep it silky and undamaged, i think it's called Silk Elements, and you can get it at Sally Beauty products

Hair Rollers?

One bad perm doesn't mean the next one is going to be bad. Suggest she try a different more upscale and well known salon. You might even buy a gift certificate for her to use.

Or

She might have to get over her fear of heated appliances and buy a curling iron. It takes less time to roll, quick and easy. Heated rollers are AMAZING...they are the best choice for quick curly hair...

As far as the hooded dryer...it takes a while to dry your hair...you might be irritated by the amount of time it takes.

She needs help getting over her fear of one bad perm and of heated appliances.

Let her know how annoying it is to you.

Hair Rollers?

Does she use magnetic or salon type plastic mesh rollers because they are the best way to create curly hair without causing any damage to your hair. I personally would not use velcro or foam as they do cause damage to your hair

If your Girlfriend does not wish to get a perm you should support her as perms can be very damaging to your hair and as she has previously had a bad experience with one i can understand her resistance about getting another one,

So if you love her I reckon that you should just put up with her hair being in rollers all the time

Penelope cruz's hair?

i love her hair. i REALLY curly hair. i have straighter, curler and dryer. is there a way to copy her hair (lots of body and loose curls on the end)?

Penelope cruz's hair?

Maybe if you use a flat iron to iron down the curl but move your hand in a curling motion at the ends of your hair. Don't believe those hair commercials. It looks like she has a ton of product or oil in her hair to make it shine like that. It also looks like she has fairly thick hair.

Have you ever seen the oxygen show Bridezilla? Magdelena had her hair done by having a stylist use a really big curling iron then he put huge curlers in the hair just after he used the iron. The end result was hair that was straight but had body %26amp; curl at the end. I'd never seen anyone using a curling iron AND rollers before. I may try it.

Penelope cruz's hair?

Well its not best to use a curler because I damages your hair and makes it dry and frizzy usually. Use mousse to make your hair more softer and wavier. I recomend Tresseme Mousse it works very good for my hair.

Help with my VERY thick, wavy hair!!?

My hair is super thick, frizzy and wavy. I need product ideas to help control it, I want to be able to wear it down, and at the moment, I'm scared to!

How do I make my hair straight without using a blow dryer or a flat iron?

Help with my VERY thick, wavy hair!!?

I think you'll have trouble making your hair straight without chemicals and/or heat, but what people used to do before they had blow dryers was to wind it around your head (like a turban) when it's wet and secure it with lots of bobby pins.

Why not go with what you've got, get some product and flaunt your curls?

Help with my VERY thick, wavy hair!!?

hey my hair is thick n slightly wavy n dark.n i dont do anything.give it a nice suitable hairstyle n plz dont use different methods 2 shape it the way u like becuz that ultimately destroy ur gud hair...go to a gud salon for advice also they will help.

Help with my VERY thick, wavy hair!!?

Well, I'm not sure it's possible to straighten out your hair without using a blowdryer or flat iron. I have the same type hair. to straigthen I put in a quarter size of mousse. and also put Ion Silk Drops, (it helps the frizz big time!) blow dry with a round brush (it will still be frizzy after blow-dry) and spray each section of hair with Gold Heat (you can find it in salons) and flat iron. Remember the more product u put in, the more it weighs it down, so less is better. Hope this helps....good luck with your search!

Annoying Hair.?

I have naturally dry African American hair that i relaxed. I normally swoop it to the side covering my eye and leave the rest open but lately my hair has been frizzy and even dryer that normal. Is there any style or product i can use to stop it from happening.

Annoying Hair.?

i would say sunsilk anti-frizz shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme. works like magic.

Annoying Hair.?

you should wash your hair more often so it won't get dry.

Annoying Hair.?

try using Pantene Pro-V. it's good for all hair types and it hydrates dry hair, making it more manageable

Anti Static Hair Product?

Does anyone know of a product which will eliminate static electricity from hair? I have tried all sorts of conditioners, and have asked hairdressers, but no one has been able to recommend anything. I have not been successful with hair spray or with rubbing a dryer anti-static sheet on my head. Winter is coming fast, and I am really uncomfortable with fly away hair.

Anti Static Hair Product?

Perhaps a shampoo %26amp; conditioner containing moisture in it. I have thin hair too and had a big problem last winter with static. It got so annoying! Especially when it was windy out. Also, if you dry your hair, try to keep the heat minimal because I've heard that a lot of heat directed on your hair can cause static as well as heat in your house when you turn that on if it is cold out. So perhaps cut back on the heat when you are taking a shower and go to dry your hair and that might be able to help you.

I went to the hair salon last April (it was still in the 40s during the day) and they suggested I use Pureology Hydrate System. Which is hydrating shampoo and conditioner. It gives bounce to thin hair and does not give off static. You can find this product in hair salons and ranges about $10-20. It helps your hair grow as well and when I came back to the salon, my hairdresser, as well as everyone else, said that my hair looked its best compared to other years when it was dry from coloring, heat, etc. It was because I switched to Pureology and I will say, the static is minimal compared to the static I had when I used Pantene Pro-V. I barely have static now and it is in the high 30s, low 40s outside %26amp; windy.

I highly suggest trying some of these techniques and getting this shampoo (the purple bottle one because they have several different types of shampoo for different types of hair). If you go to pureology's website: http://www.pureology.com/ .. click on salon locator to find out where this is located in your area. Basically, you get what you pay for with this product and I have not used anything else since I have started using this! Good luck! :)

Anti Static Hair Product?

i use frizz ease smooth touch and it takes the static out

Anti Static Hair Product?

spray sheen, found in the black hair care, use sparingly and mostly on your ends. or a spray shine.

Anti Static Hair Product?

they make stuff called static gaurd and its awsome! they sell it at wal mart or at a grocery store. spray it on your brush and brosh it through your hair. dont spray 2 much cuz your hair will get greasy

Anti Static Hair Product?

Have you tried any good leave-in conditioner? That helps. Anti-static hairstyling tools, hair dryers, brushes, etc. may help. Also spray your hair brush with an anti-static spray and brush your hair. And make sure that your shampoo is not drying out your hair too much.
