What ways can I style my hair without using any heat?

I am determined not to use any heating products (curlers, blow dryers. etc.) But what kind of hair styles can I do now?

I still want to look cute, but NO heat. Also I have bi-racial hair, can you help?

Try a LOT of conditioner, and leave it on for at least 3 minutes to soak in. If one doesn't work for your hair, keep trying til you find the right kind. I've found that leave-in conditioners do NOT help. Be sure there is no conditioner residue in your hair, then, air dry (I take my showers before bed, so my hair is nice %26amp; bone dry by the time I wake up. Now here's the fun part....and this really works, at least for me, tho it sounds weird..with the BACK of your hand, "smack" or "karate chop" your hair starting 2 inches from your scalp and going down to the tips of your hair. Do this QUICKLY over and over and over again, for about half a minute. The reason this works is because when you pull down on a strand of hair it forces the cuticles of each strand of hair to lay flat. (thus smoothing your hair) Try this every time you use the ladies' room, just beat the crap out of your hair for 30 seconds every few hours, and you should notice a big difference...that your hair looks and feels silkier! I've found that this virtually eliminates bad hair days for me....and that is saying A LOT! Another suggestion I have (that works for me as well) is that chin-length (give or take a few inches) seems to be easier to work with than longer hair. You can always use velcro curlers in your hair. Put in after your shower and then leave in overnight. You could try that, if not...try scrunching your hair a little bit to put waves.
