Could it be our new water tank? I would have thought the shower filter would have taken care of that. Every time I shampoo and dry, my hair on top is stick and oily-looking and it looks like I've gone a few days without washing. Can anyone suggest anything other than changing shampoos/hair dryers? I just moved across town and this didn't happen at my other place, so it's not the city water...
Just moved into new house and my hair is oily after shampooing every time. The new shower filter doesn't work.
Do they use a water softener? Otherwise, try rinsing with vinegar and water.

IF IT IS NOT THE POSSIBILITY THAT YOU HAVE MISSED A SPOT,THE OTHER REASON COULD BE THAT THE WATER IS TOO HOT. HOT WATER CAUSES THE PRODUCTION OF SEBUM (OIL) AND COOLER WATER REMEDY THIS IF WATER TEMP. IS THE PROBLEM.
