My hair is naturally straight, but I have really long hair past my waist (I'm not allowed to cut it because that's my and my parents belief) so it gets out of hand quite a bit. Is there any non-expensive way i can have super straight hair so that when the wind blows it, it wont get all unruly and out of hand. i know that i could get an 'ionic perm' at the hair salon but they'd charge me around $300 to $500 and my parents wouldn't let me do that coz i'm still 17.. so i was wondering if there was any way to do it without excessive use of hair straighters or hair dryers... becoz i dont want to damage my hair since i'm not allowed to cut it.
Thanx to anyone who can help! xxx
How do I get super straight hair??
Milk rebond is one of the best treatments but it's quite expensive. Just use a ceramic flat iron on the tips before you go out. That should help. But best thing to do? Tie your hair.

why dont you just put it in a ponytail or braid when its windy outside instead of worrying about straightening it?
How do I get super straight hair??
I don't think there is. With hair as long as yours you should probably just tie it back in the wind.

Braid it.

Nope the problem with long long hair is that when it's windy it blows everywhere and gets all tangled up. The best advice I can give you is to braid it or twist it up and pin it to the back of your head. there is only so much you can do with hair once it gets too long . I agree not to use straighteners they will damage your hair and nothing makes long hair looks bad as unkept stringy straggly damaged hair.
