whenever i try to curl my hair, it goes back to pin straight after an hour %26gt;_%26lt; %26amp;%26amp; when i get my hair done at the salon i have to be under the blow dryer for like 5 hours. i want my hair but i dont want to get a perm yet just something temporary. i want those scrunchy curls.

I believe you just don't use enough hair product (ie gel, mousse, etc)

My hair is naturally straight too. When curling my hair, I do it after its washed and dried. I part it into sections, starting from the very back first. Then I put like a handful of hair product and then curl and then more afterwards and repeat.

you could braid it in big braids and let it in place when you are sleeping and then take them out in the morning and get some waves.
