when I try to blow dry my hair straight, it works for a little bit... but then, as I dry it more and more, it curls and waves and frizzes worse than my normal hair does air drying. What am I doing wrong?
once I get out of the shower, I dry my hair with a towel about 50%, then I get a paddle brush and my dryer and work it from there.

Blow dry hair straight?
One reason could be your frizzing your hair when you towel-dry it. If you towel dry it too rough then it can get frizzy later on once it dries. Another reason could be your hair dryer. Its really worth it to splurge on a great hair dryer if your looking for perfectly straight hair. To get one go to a high-end beauty supple store like Ulta.

divide in 3 sections with clips..
1. top
2. middle
3. bottom
start blow drying the bottom sections and work your way up.
after blow drying each section, tie it in a ponytail till youre finished with the top....make sure u put some kind of hair serum in your hair before doing so while its damp...
then use a big curling iron (1 1/2 inch) or flat iron and go back thru the 3 sections once again..it helps if u use a spray on protectant on each section prior to hitting it with the tool..
make sure to sleep on it in a low ponytail t nite...not necessary to wash everyday when straightening your hair out cause it can really damage hair over time..just make sure your keep it covered when showering so the dampness doesnt revert your hair back to its natural state..although u may have to run the iron thru it the following day, it should stay pretty flattened out for a couple of days or longer if u dont sweat or use alot of styling products
