i had brunnette, tried to dye blonde w/o bleache now it's a repulsive orange. it might wash out sometime..meanwhile everytime i dye/straighten my hair it gets dryer and harder.is there some shampoo i could use to make it more natural???

at this point all the hair that has been affected will have to be cut off in time. about the color, it will be corrective color and that is the most expensive hair process a salon does. do not attempt anymore home remedies at all. once it is back to original shade do everything to protect the new color no sun on the hair directly. or harsh shampoos lots of conditioning on the ends. still if a salon does it you still run the risk of orange tips when the dye fades, i did this when i was really young i have dk brown hair and went blonde delt with green tips for months. never do it again!

get your butt over to a salon and get them to correct the color and recommend a good shampoo and conditioner

try using the shampoo, conditioner and luminous color glaze from john frieda. look for the one that is blondest and use that. it should lighten your hair and take the orange out.
